CHIMICMETAL present for the 19th time at MIDEST, has developed a chemical machining process over 34 years, for the production of flat metal components.
With a team of 11 people, it produces a turnover of 1,5 M€ with a portfolio of 1000 clients.

Chemical machining permits the production of simple or complex form metal components, which would not be possible with traditional mechanical techniques, for thicknesses from 2/100 to 15/10 on copper, ferrous, nickel metals and their alloys. The machining is carried our by dissolving the metal through a photosensitive protective mask coating. For this activity we use 400 kgs of fecl/3 days.
The applications are multiple: space, computing, automotive, optical, watch making, filtration, jewellery, from prototypes to large production runs, for reduced costs and production lead times.
With the aim of ensuring profitable production, and applying an environmental policy, we have developed technology for the regeneration of the acid, in parallel with a water purifying station.
This action was rewarded in 1995 with a prize " Pure water, clean water " confirmed a second time in 1997 with the same prize " Pure water, clean water " awarded by the Seine Normandy water agency.

In 1998, within the POLLUTEC salon, under the organisation of MILLER FREEMAN, we received a third award, the Trophy for economical and clean technologies in the Small Medium size Company category, attributed by the magazine INDUSTRIES ET TECHNIQUES and l’ADEME.
